Purpose of Library instruction (Information Literacy)

Welcome to the Archaeology Library instruction page.  You will find all the information you need to find all academic material for your assignments on this page.  The training videos start with an introduction to the Library and ends with a bibliographic management tool.  Please contact your Librarian, Rachel.Louis@wits.ac.za  if you need additional help.

Part 2 How to set a Library Pin

  • Go to the Library homepage www.wits.ac.za/library 
  • Scroll down to "My Account" and select
  • Add your surname
  • Add your student number
  • Add a Library Pin (Your pin is numerals.  Not less than 4 and not more than 13)
  • Select submit
  • Repeat Pin again as prompted
  • Repeat it a third time
  • Select submit
  • Congratulations.  You've set a Library pin. Log out of your account.  You can now use the Libraries Electronic Resources.
