BENEFITS OF HAVING A PUBLONS PROFILE
Can be used to track your:
WEB OF SCIENCE RESEARCHER ID ON PUBLONS:
Web of Science ResearcherID migrated to Publons in 2019. Unlike Scopus where the ID is automatically assigned, you need to register a Publons Profile and add publications on the profile yourself. See below more on Registering a Publons profile and integrating Publons with your ORCID.
REGISTER YOUR PUBLONS PROFILE:
Web of Science profile that DO NOT have a Web of Science ResearcherID assigned and needs to be claimed by the author:
Important: If you have a profile that does not have a Web of Science ResearcherID assigned (as above), you can select Claim my record (see below):
You will then be asked to Proceed to Claim this record
This will then take you to the page where you can register for a Publons acccount (see below). You will then be allowed to verify details on the account i.e. name, affiliation, publications etc.
Web of Science profile that has a Web of Science ResearcherID assigned:
If you do not have a Web of Science ResearcherID account, or do not have login details for either Publons, Web of Science or Endnote - click on the below image to register.
If you have a Web of Science ResearcherID account or already have an account with either Publons, Web of Science or Endnote sign in with your credentials (e-mail address and password) for that service to start using Publons by using the below link:
You need to have an ORCiD before you can connect your Web of Science ResearcherID on Publons with your ORCiD. If you do not have an ORCiD as yet, go to Claim your ORCiD. For more information on ORCiD and adding your ORCiD to the Wits ORCID Portal go to Researcher e-Visibility: ORCiD
