The Education Library supports the activities of the Wits School of Education and therefore maintains a strong print collection in the field of education. All subjects taught at primary school are also covered, as are most high school subjects. The Library also has a large collection of children’s fiction and non-fiction. Light fiction is also stocked.

COMPUTER ACCESS
The Library has 8 PCs for use by clients. When using Wits PCs, Staff and students need to log on under their own names and passwords. These are provided by CNS. The Library has wireless connectivity. Laptops and tablets can therefore link to the University network. To access the databases paid for by the University, patrons need Library PINs. These are easily self-allocated at https://innopac.wits.ac.za/patroninfo~S0 . The e-Wits Library catalogue may also be accessed by means of smartphones using the MyLibrary App.
PRINTERS-COPIERS-SCANNERS (MULTIFUNCTION DEVICES)
Black and white: 43c per single side of A4 copy, 77c double-sided. Colour: R2.98 per single side of A4 copy, R5.86 double-sided. Monies are deducted automatically from the patron’s account. Accounts are easily credited by feeding banknotes into the Kudu Bucks Terminal (KBT). The closest KBT is the one in Leseding Block. There is also one at Medical School.
Scanning to e-mail or to memory stick is free of charge.
POST-GRADUATE READING ROOM
Honours, Master’s and Doctoral students are invited to use this room for quiet study. The room has three PCs with special facilities for disabled clients. PGs may use these.
