Cambridge University Press (CUP) - Read & Publish agreement

 

ABOUT THE AGREEMENT
  • SANLiC (South African National Library & Information Consortium) has negotiated an agreement with Cambridge University Press (CUP) to support Open Access publishing.

  •  The Read & Publish agreement allows unlimited Open Access publishing in  all CUP gold- and hybrid open access journals, without incurring any Article Processing Charges, for the period Jan 2021 to Dec 2024. Being a member of SANLiC the contract with Wits University is effective January 1st, 2021.

CUP Open Access publishing - Instructions

INSTRUCTIONS & ELIGIBILITY
  • Submit your research using your institutional affiliation (ideally using ORCID). Please note that eligibility is based on the corresponding author's affiliation
  • Upon acceptance, choose the Gold Open Access option in your author publishing agreement form and select a creative commons licence
  • Authors are advised to check any funder or institutional mandates, for example research-funded authors may need to choose CC-BY (Creative Commons Attribution License)
