SANLiC (South African National Library & Information Consortium) has negotiated a transformative open access agreement with Bentham Science Publishers that covers publication for all journals, conference proceedings, and magazines of the world's largest scientific and educational computing society. Being a member of SANLiC the contract with Wits University is effective from 2024-2026.
The agreement with Bentham Science Publishers entails that Wits authors that submits a manuscript to Bentham's journals can make their article available Open Access at no additional cost and links them to the rights offerings that Bentham Science Publisher. View the full journal title list here.

Wits' students, researchers, and academics continue to receive unlimited and unrestricted access to all content in Bentham's Complete Collection or subject collections that the university subscribes to.
Wits authors can publish open access in any of Bentham's 124 hybrid journals or 42 gold journals without paying an APC.
