SANLiC (South African National Library & Information Consortium) has negotiated an agreement with American Chemical Society (ACS) to support Open Access publishing for the period Jan 2023 to Dec 2025. Being a member of SANLiC the contract with Wits University is effective January 1st, 2023.

The Read & Publish agreement allows:
Read access to more than 75 journals in the ACS All Publications package.
unlimited Open Access publishing (without incurring any Article Processing Charges) in the:
ACS hybrid open access journals, as well as
ACS diamond open access journal, ACS Central Science

For ACS gold open access journals, that is the ACS Au Journals, a reduced APC of $3000 applies
