The library offers a variety of specialized spaces designed to support learning, teaching, research, and collaboration. Whether you need a quiet area for independent study, a technology-equipped room for training sessions, or a flexible venue for discussions and group work, our facilities cater to diverse academic needs. From the Cyber Resource Centre and Cyber Teaching & Learning rooms to the Cyber Space and Discussion Room, each space is equipped with essential technology, including wireless access, projection facilities, and networked computers. When not in use for scheduled sessions, many of these spaces are open for student use, providing a dynamic and adaptable environment for academic success.
The Cyber Classroom is equipped with 12 networked desktop computers and a teacher's station, which is configured to project onto a screen. Each computer is installed with NetOp software. This room primarily hosts library training sessions and workshops; however, when not in use for classes, it is available for students to work independently.
The Cyber Space is a versatile, wireless-enabled venue with seating for approximately 50 people. It can be divided into two separate rooms as needed, each equipped with its own projection facilities. When used as a single space, projection capabilities are available at both ends, ensuring flexibility for various events and presentations.
The Discussion Room, located in the southwest corner of the library, is primarily used for group discussions. It is equipped with wireless access, allowing users to stay connected while collaborating

The Cyber Teaching & Learning Rooms each feature a fixed, networked computer for trainers, while participants can connect their own devices via Wits WiFi. A movable Smart Board is available for use in either room, providing flexibility for interactive learning. These rooms are primarily used for library teaching sessions but are open for student use when no sessions are scheduled.
