When you have added a large number of citations to EndNote, you will need to be able to find a particular reference. EndNote has a useful search feature to help you achieve this.
Quick search:
Here you simply enter a term in the search box at the top of the screen. This works well if you do not have too many references in your library.
Advanced Search:
You can run complicated searches, which is especially helpful when you have a lot of references saved.
Enter your search term/s in the search boxes
You can decide which fields to search.
You can choose to search the Whole Library or limit your search. You can select to match the case of your search tems, or match the words.
You can run complicated searches using Boolean logic by selecting the operators in the drop down boxes.
