WHSL EndNote: The Basics

software tool for publishing and managing bibliographies, citations and references

What is EndNote?

EndNote is a tool for managing research. It does this by enabling you to save, track and share references, as well as using saved citations while you write your paper and automatically create a bibliography in the style of your choice.

Where can I get EndNote at Wits?

Please check with your departmental research co-ordinator as some departments are able to offer a special price.

You can buy EndNote software from Wits Information & Communication Technologies (WITS ICT). The cost of the EndNote license is R570  (Windows and Mac versions are available). You may send an Internal Requisition (IR) as payment for the software or pay directly into our fees office account:

001.106.4331102.8114101

Once proof of payment has been received we will either send you the installation disk or provide you with the installation details. If you have an office on campus we can deliver the disks to you or alternatively they may be collected from  Solomon Mahlangu House (Senate House), 1st floor, room SH1064

Email Mmathari Malema or phone ( +27 11 717 9770) for further details
